Instructions

In a large bowl, mash the cottage cheese with a fork to break up any larger lumps, then add the eggs and mix well to form a uniform mixture.

Stir the ground oat flakes, salt, pepper, chopped garlic and chives into the mixture. Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes so the oats can swell and bind the ingredients together.

With slightly moistened hands, shape the mixture into patties of your desired size. If the mixture is too soft, add another tablespoon of oat flakes.

Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the patties over medium heat for about 3–4 minutes on each side, until they develop a golden brown crust.
