How to use

Mix 3 g (1 level teaspoon) with 400 ml of lukewarm water and consume approximately 30 minutes before training. Timing itself is not scientifically critical to the end result – consistent daily use, including on non-training days, is more important.

Pros and Cons

Creatine monohydrate – the most researched form of creatine
Clean formulation – no flavors or sweeteners
Micronized form – finer particles for easier mixing and better instant solubility in liquid
Supports strength, performance and recovery during intense training
Clear warnings regarding age, pregnancy and health conditions
Neutral taste – easy to mix with other supplements
May cause a temporary increase in body mass due to water retention
Benefits are less pronounced for long-duration endurance activities
Micronization improves solubility, but according to available scientific evidence does not demonstrably increase the amount of creatine actually stored in the muscles compared to standard monohydrate (Kreider, Jäger & Purpura, 2022)
The highest price in this product category (€25.90 for 300 g)

Suitable for

Strength training
Gaining muscle mass alongside appropriate training and nutrition
Maintaining strength across consecutive sets of exercises
Explosive sports activities
Interval training
Vegans and vegetarians
Micronization means the creatine monohydrate particles are physically ground to a smaller size, which does genuinely improve solubility in liquid and reduces the 'gritty' feeling when mixing – this is a real and noticeable benefit for user experience. However, scientific evidence does not confirm that a smaller particle size alone increases the amount of creatine actually absorbed and stored in the muscles compared to standard (non-micronized) monohydrate – a critical review of such claims labels them as exaggerated relative to the available data (Kreider, Jäger & Purpura, 2022). Micronization is therefore mainly beneficial for ease of consumption, not necessarily for additional effectiveness.
This warning is consistent with the precautionary approach applied to creatine use in adolescents – long-term pediatric safety data are still limited, so caution or use only under professional supervision is recommended for individuals under 18 (Jagim & Kerksick, 2021). This does not mean creatine is necessarily harmful for adolescents, but rather that the evidence base for this age group is not as extensive as for adults, where creatine monohydrate is one of the most well-researched and safest supplements (Kreider et al., 2017). If you are under 18, consult a sports physician or pediatrician before use.
A newer 2026 meta-analysis of randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies does indeed show a mild anti-inflammatory effect of creatine, which is an interesting additional finding alongside the already well-known benefits for strength and performance (internal AdvancedU PMC Links database, 2026 meta-analysis). It is important to understand, however, that this does not mean creatine 'treats' inflammatory conditions or replaces medical treatment for any disease – it is a generally observed mild change in otherwise healthy subjects in a research setting. For any inflammatory or chronic health conditions, always consult a doctor, and the supplement should at most complement, not replace, treatment.
The higher price of micronized products often reflects an additional manufacturing step (grinding particles to a smaller size) intended to improve solubility and user experience, but not necessarily the biological effectiveness of the creatine molecule itself, since it is essentially still the same creatine monohydrate (Kreider, Jäger & Purpura, 2022). If fast and complete dissolution of the powder in liquid without residue matters most to you, the premium makes sense. If that is not essential to you, standard (non-micronized) creatine monohydrate can offer an equivalent effect on strength and performance at a lower price.
