How to use

For the first 4 weeks, take 2 capsules twice daily (a total of 4 capsules, approximately 3 g of beta-alanine per day), then continue with a maintenance dose of 2 capsules once daily (approximately 1.5 g/day). Take the capsules with a sufficient amount of water. Beta-alanine works gradually, so daily use, including on non-training days, is important for the best results.

Pros and Cons

Supports performance during intense exercise
Helps maintain performance during demanding training sessions
Supports endurance during high-intensity efforts
Free of caffeine and other stimulants
Plant-based capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) free of gelatin – also suitable for vegetarians and vegans
Dosing is designed in two phases – a higher initial dose for faster saturation, followed by a lower maintenance dose
The effect is not immediate but develops with regular use
Several weeks of daily use are needed for the best results
Not particularly beneficial for very short explosive efforts
Does not directly contribute to increasing muscle mass or strength
The maintenance dose after 4 weeks (1.5 g/day) is significantly lower than the clinically studied range of 4-6 g/day

Suitable for

Athletes in team sports
Individuals doing HIIT and interval training
Runners, cyclists and swimmers
People wanting to improve endurance during intense exercise
This is the so-called saturation protocol – the idea that during the first weeks of supplementation, the body needs a relatively higher intake of beta-alanine for muscle carnosine to reach a new, elevated level, after which a lower dose is needed to maintain that level. The ISSN position stand states that 4-6 g/day over 2-4 weeks raises muscle carnosine by approximately 40-60% (Trexler et al., 2015), while more recent data show that long-term use of lower doses (around 3.2 g/day) can further maintain or even gradually increase the elevated carnosine level (de Oliveira et al., 2023).
The maintenance dose of 1.5 g/day is lower than the dose (around 3.2 g/day) that more recent research on safety and long-term use associates with maintaining an elevated level of muscle carnosine (de Oliveira et al., 2023), and considerably below the officially recommended ISSN range (4-6 g/day; Trexler et al., 2015). This does not necessarily mean the maintenance dose has no benefit at all, but for maximum preservation of the effect after the saturation phase, based on the available data, it would make sense to consider a somewhat higher maintenance intake. For an individually tailored dose, you can consult a pharmacist or doctor.
Yes. Unlike some other capsule products in this category that use a gelatin shell of animal origin, the capsules in this product are made from a plant-based substance – hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC). This means the product's capsule composition is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. However, we recommend always checking the complete ingredient list on the current packaging, as manufacturers' formulations occasionally change.
Available data show that beta-alanine supplementation at moderate doses (around 3.2 g/day) is safe for use up to 24 weeks (de Oliveira et al., 2023). For continuous use longer than one year, there is currently insufficient research data available, so no long-term conclusions can be drawn (Trexler et al., 2015). Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and persons under 18 years of age should consult a doctor before use, as also stated on the product packaging.
May contain traces of milk, eggs, soy, fish, celery and gluten-containing cereals.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose
Use is not recommended for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and persons under 18 years of age without consulting a doctor
Temporary tingling or prickling of the skin may occur after consumption, which is a common and harmless effect of beta-alanine
