How to use
Mix 3/4 scoop (6 g) with 200-250 ml of water and consume immediately. For recovery after or during exertion, take 1-2 servings per day.
Pros and Cons
High leucine ratio (4:1:1) - leucine is considered the key trigger of anabolic signaling pathways (mTOR)
Contributes to a reduction in the feeling of fatigue during training
Sugar-free and low in energy value
Suitable for vegans
The only product in this group with a publicly published, batch-specific independent lab report (GBA Group)
Contains only three essential amino acids (BCAAs), so it is not a complete protein source
Contains an artificial sweetener (sucralose) and colorant (beta-carotene) - may cause bloating in sensitive individuals
If total daily protein intake is already sufficient, the additional benefit of standalone BCAA supplementation is limited (Wolfe, 2017)
Suitable for
Athletes and recreational exercisers looking for support with recovery and reduced muscle soreness (DOMS) after intense training
Vegans and vegetarians - the product contains no animal ingredients
Users who value verifiable quality - the only product in this group with a publicly published independent lab report
The direct claim that standalone BCAAs (without the remaining essential amino acids) accelerate muscle growth is not well supported - Wolfe (2017) showed that BCAAs on their own do not stimulate muscle protein synthesis, and when administered intravenously they even reduced overall protein turnover. A more reliably documented effect of BCAA supplementation is a reduction in muscle soreness (DOMS) and markers of muscle damage after intense exercise (Fouré and Bendahan, 2017). If your total daily protein intake is already sufficient, the additional benefit of standalone BCAAs for muscle growth is not proven. The product is therefore better understood as a recovery aid rather than a muscle-building tool.
Research shows that the effect of BCAAs on reducing muscle soreness (DOMS) is most pronounced 24-96 hours after exercise, which is typically when soreness is at its peak (Khemtong et al., 2021). It's also important to note that the effect is not a single immediate event - a more recent meta-analysis with meta-regression (Salem et al., 2024) shows better results with higher total doses and with supplementation lasting longer than 7 days, i.e. with regular use. In this product, one serving (6 g) contains 5 g of BCAAs, which is at the lower end of the doses used in these studies - for a more reliable effect, we recommend regular use of 1-2 servings daily on days following intense exercise.
BCAAs contain only three of the nine essential amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, valine), so they are indeed not a complete protein source and cannot fully replace quality protein or a balanced diet. Their role is different - they are primarily intended for quick, targeted amino acid replenishment during or after exercise and for supporting reduced muscle soreness (Fouré and Bendahan, 2017), not for building overall protein intake. The advantage of this particular product is that, unlike most comparable BCAA products, it has a publicly published, batch-specific independent lab report (GBA Group) on heavy metal content and microbiology, which at a price of €23.95 represents a relatively favorable ratio in terms of verifiable quality.
For healthy adults, free-form crystalline BCAAs within the recommended doses are considered generally safe. The product contains sucralose, an artificial sweetener that may cause slight bloating in people with a very sensitive digestive tract, and exceeding the recommended dose may also cause digestive issues. Special caution is advised for people with a rare genetic disorder of BCAA metabolism (maple syrup urine disease) and those with advanced liver disease, who should consult a doctor before use, as BCAA metabolism is altered in these conditions. The same applies to pregnant and breastfeeding women. Otherwise, the product has no additional allergens listed on the label, which is a positive for sensitive users.
No major allergens listed.
Contains sucralose - in people with a very sensitive digestive tract, the artificial sweetener may trigger slight bloating
Exceeding the recommended dose may cause digestive issues (bloating, nausea, stomach discomfort)
People with maple syrup urine disease (MSUD) or advanced liver disease should use the product only after consulting a doctor
