Athletes who want to combine BCAAs with glutamine and vitamin B6 for additional recovery support
Users who appreciate a wide variety of flavors – available in 10 different options

BCAA Zero contains the color tartrazine, which is permitted in the EU, but by law must carry a warning stating that it may have an adverse effect on children's activity and attention – this warning is also included on this product's label. For adult users within the recommended dose, it does not pose a particular risk; however, if you prefer a product completely free of artificial colors, choose another one from this category (e.g. AllNutrition BCAA Instant), which does not contain any coloring. Keep the product out of reach of children.
BCAA Zero is one of the few products in this category that supplements the 2:1:1 BCAA ratio with L-glutamine (0.7 g) and vitamin B6 (2 mg per dose). Glutamine is often added to recovery formulas, although evidence of its standalone benefit for muscle recovery, when protein intake is already sufficient, is not as strong as that for BCAAs in reducing DOMS (Fouré and Bendahan, 2017). Vitamin B6 contributes to normal energy metabolism and reducing tiredness. This makes it an upgraded, though not fundamentally different, formula compared to standard 2:1:1 BCAA products.
Sucralose is considered a safe artificial sweetener within the allowed daily intake limits, though in some more sensitive individuals higher doses may cause mild bloating or other digestive discomfort. This also applies to this product, which contains sucralose. If you have a sensitive digestive system, we recommend starting with a smaller dose and monitoring how your body reacts, or choosing a product without artificial sweeteners.
The real, evidence-supported benefit of BCAAs is primarily the reduction of muscle soreness (DOMS) and lowering markers of muscle damage, such as creatine kinase, after intense exercise (Khemtong et al., 2021; Salem et al., 2024). For this product, the recommended single dose (6 g BCAAs) before training is at the lower end of the doses used in these studies – an effect is therefore possible, but not guaranteed for all users. BCAAs are not a substitute for adequate rest, sleep, and sufficient overall protein intake, which remain the foundation of recovery.
Milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, nuts, celery, fish, crustaceans, sulfur dioxide
Contains sucralose – this artificial sweetener may cause mild bloating in sensitive individuals
Higher doses of BCAAs may cause digestive issues (bloating, nausea, stomach discomfort)
Contains the color tartrazine, which may have an adverse effect on children's activity and attention
Individuals with maple syrup urine disease (MSUD) should exclude BCAAs from their diet; consult a doctor in case of liver disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding
