How to use

Mix 1 scoop (4 g of powder, corresponding to 3.92 g of beta-alanine) into approximately 200 ml of water or add to your pre-workout drink. Beta-alanine works gradually through the accumulation of muscle carnosine, so for best results daily use is recommended, even on non-training days; effects usually become noticeable after 2-4 weeks of regular use (Trexler et al., 2015).

Pros and Cons

Very simple, clean composition – contains only beta-alanine and an anti-caking agent, with no flavors, sweeteners or colorants
Supports endurance during high-intensity exercise
Suitable for combining with creatine or pre-workout products
Suitable for long-term use
Free of caffeine and other stimulants – also suitable for evening use
The effect is not immediate but develops gradually with regular use
Several weeks of daily intake are needed for best results
Does not directly contribute to increasing muscle mass or strength
The dose of one scoop (3.92 g) is just below the lower limit of the clinically studied range of 4-6 g/day, so with a single daily intake the effect may not be maximal

Suitable for

Team sport athletes
Runners, cyclists and swimmers
Individuals doing interval training (HIIT)
People looking to improve endurance during intense exercise
Beta-alanine doesn't work immediately, since the body must first gradually increase the concentration of carnosine in the muscles. The official position stand of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) states that regularly taking 4-6 g per day over 2-4 weeks increases muscle carnosine by approximately 40-60% (Trexler et al., 2015). Most users therefore notice the first subjective differences in intense exercise only after two to four weeks of consistent, daily use – even on days when you don't train. Since people respond quite differently to the dose, in some cases a noticeable effect may take somewhat longer (Dolan et al., 2020).
This is paresthesia – a well-known, harmless side effect of beta-alanine that often occurs with single doses above approximately 800 mg and usually subsides within 60-90 minutes (Trexler et al., 2015). Since one scoop of this product contains almost 4 g of beta-alanine at once, the tingling sensation is quite likely with this product. If it feels unpleasant, you can split the dose into two smaller intakes throughout the day instead of one full scoop – this reduces the intensity of the sensation without affecting the long-term accumulation of carnosine in the muscles.
Beta-alanine is most beneficial for high-intensity efforts lasting roughly 60 seconds to 4 minutes – i.e., HIIT workouts, intervals, rowing, or short running repeats (Trexler et al., 2015). For very short sprints (under 60 seconds) or classic endurance running, where the effort lasts much longer and is not as intensely anaerobic, the evidence of benefit is less consistent. For runners who include interval segments in their training, the product makes sense, but for purely endurance-based running, expect a less pronounced effect.
One scoop contains 3.92 g of beta-alanine, which is just below the officially recommended range of 4-6 g/day from the ISSN position stand (Trexler et al., 2015). This means that with this dose you will likely achieve a relevant rise in muscle carnosine, but not necessarily the maximum for your body – research shows considerable individual variability in response, with some users requiring significantly higher cumulative doses for full saturation (Dolan et al., 2020). If after a few weeks you don't notice the expected effects, you may, after consulting a professional, consider a slightly higher daily intake within the recommended range.
