How to use

Take 1 to 2 capsules, twice a day (4 capsules in total, i.e. 3200 mg creatine HCl). It is recommended to take it regularly, most easily with a post-workout meal together with carbohydrates or protein. According to meta-analyses to date, the timing of intake relative to training has only a small, statistically insignificant effect on results - regular daily use is more important (Kreider et al., 2017).

Pros and Cons

Independently tested for microbiological safety and heavy metals, with a publicly available report (11/2025)
Convenient capsule form - no dissolving in water, easy dosing
Suitable for both strength and endurance athletes, including those over 55 years of age
The daily dose (3200 mg creatine HCl, approx. 2.5 g of elemental creatine) is below the lower limit of the clinically established maintenance range of 3-5 g/day
Not suitable for vegans - the capsules contain gelatin of animal origin
The label does not separately state the elemental creatine content, only the total mass of the HCl salt

Suitable for

Athletes who train for both strength and endurance
People over 55 years of age who want to support the effects of strength training
Users who prefer capsules over powder for easy dosing without dissolving
This comes down to the difference between the mass of the salt and the actual content of pure (elemental) creatine. Creatine hydrochloride contains by weight approximately 78.2% pure creatine, while classic creatine monohydrate contains around 87.9% (Kreider, Jäger, Purpura, 2022). With this product, 4 capsules deliver 3200 mg of the HCl salt, which is approximately 2.5 g of elemental creatine - somewhat below the clinically established maintenance range of 3-5 g per day (Kreider et al., 2017). If you want to reach the upper end of this range, you may need a higher daily dose, which you can also discuss with a nutrition professional.
This is a common marketing claim, but the reviewed scientific literature offers no direct, repeated confirmation from controlled studies. Creatine hydrochloride was developed primarily for better solubility in water, which does not necessarily mean better absorption or less water retention compared to creatine monohydrate - a critical review of the evidence in fact finds that monohydrate, regardless of solubility, is absorbed almost completely in the digestive tract (Kreider, Jäger, Purpura, 2022). Direct comparisons of HCl and monohydrate at equivalent doses also showed no statistically significant differences in body composition (Eghbali et al., 2025). Any perceived reduction in bloating may therefore be subjective or a result of the lower overall dose.
For healthy adults, creatine, including the HCl form, is generally very safe - an extensive analysis of more than 680 clinical studies found no statistically significant difference in the incidence of side effects between creatine and placebo (Gil et al., 2025). In people over 55 years of age, research even shows that creatine combined with strength training can support gains in muscle strength (internal PMC study on muscle strength gains, 2024). The capsule form is often gentler on a sensitive stomach than dissolving powder, although one user in product reviews mentioned mild heartburn. If you have kidney disease or are taking medication, we still recommend consulting a doctor before use.
Capsules are mainly a matter of convenience - you don't have to weigh out or dissolve powder, which can be an advantage while traveling or at the gym. This product has an edge over some competitors in the same category, as GymBeam publishes a publicly available independent laboratory report on microbiological safety and heavy metal content (tested November 2025), which matters for dietary supplements, since traces of contaminants have in the past been detected in cheaper creatine products (Tubaro et al., 2011). The trade-off is a lower daily dose of elemental creatine (~2.5 g) compared to the standard maintenance dose of 3-5 g/day - if you want to be sure to reach the upper end of this range, you may need to choose a product with a higher concentration.
No major allergens listed.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
The product is not intended for children, pregnant women, or breastfeeding mothers.
If you have kidney disease or are taking medication, consult a doctor before use.
