How to use

Take one capsule daily with a glass of water, preferably with your evening meal. Magnesium can have a positive effect on muscle relaxation and sleep quality, so it is recommended to take it in the evening. Regular, daily use is required for a noticeable effect.

Pros and Cons

Contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
Contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system
Contributes to normal muscle function
Contributes to normal protein synthesis
Contributes to normal psychological function
Contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth
Affordable price and easy dosing (1 capsule per day)
Regular, daily use is required for best results
Does not contain any additional vitamins or minerals
The predominant part of the 'triple formula' consists of magnesium oxide and magnesium carbonate, which have lower bioavailability than, for example, magnesium bisglycinate or malate
The label only states the total magnesium content (258 mg), without a breakdown by individual form, making it impossible to accurately estimate the actual amount absorbed
Some users have reported that the capsules are relatively large, which can make them uncomfortable to swallow

Suitable for

Athletes and recreational exercisers
People with higher physical strain
Individuals looking to support recovery after training
People dealing with fatigue or muscle tension
A reasonable question, since the 'triple formula' label can be misleading. Looking at the ingredient list, it's clear this product contains magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate and magnesium citrate – not bisglycinate or malate. This matters because oxide and carbonate have significantly lower solubility and bioavailability than citrate; magnesium oxide is absorbed at only about 4% (Blancquaert et al., 2019), while citrate has shown significantly better absorption than oxide in direct comparisons (Kappeler et al., 2017). So the product isn't top-tier in terms of bioavailability, despite its relatively high total magnesium content (258 mg). It is, however, still a legitimate and affordable source of magnesium – just expect the actual absorbed fraction to be lower than with a formula dominated by bisglycinate or citrate.
Magnesium is involved in regulating NMDA and GABAergic signaling, a mechanism through which it can influence relaxation and sleep quality (Botturi et al., 2018; AdvancedU Magnesium Deep Dive, PMC11136869, 2024). However, caution is needed when comparing this to research findings: clinically documented effects on sleep were primarily observed at a dose of around 250 mg of magnesium in the form of bisglycinate (AdvancedU Magnesium Deep Dive, PMC12412596, 2025), whereas this product mainly contains oxide and carbonate. With regular use, improvement is possible – some users have even reported better sleep in their reviews – but the most scientifically supported effect has been demonstrated with a different form of magnesium, so results aren't guaranteed.
Magnesium plays a role in energy metabolism and neuromuscular transmission, and systematic reviews show a moderate but consistent reduction in muscle soreness and inflammatory markers (CK, DOMS) in athletes with adequate magnesium intake (Boyle et al., 2024). At 258 mg of elemental magnesium per day, the dose falls within a reasonable range, though below the upper end of the recommended additional intake for athletes (around 300-400 mg/day). It's also worth noting a more recent study showing that magnesium supplementation in individuals without a deficiency didn't necessarily improve performance, and even had a slightly negative effect on cycling performance (Heubi et al., 2025) – suggesting that the benefit is likely greatest if your dietary magnesium intake is actually low.
In cases of kidney disease, we advise against deciding on magnesium supplementation on your own – the kidneys are the key organ for excreting excess magnesium from the body, so impaired kidney function can lead to magnesium accumulation and an increased risk of adverse effects (NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, 2023). We recommend consulting a doctor before starting this or any magnesium supplement, so they can assess whether a dose of 258 mg of elemental magnesium per day is safe for you given the condition of your kidneys. This is not a substitute for medical advice.
Does not contain any of the major listed allergens.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose
Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and individuals taking medication should consult a doctor before use
People with kidney disease should consult a doctor before use, as impaired kidney function makes it harder to excrete excess magnesium, increasing the risk of adverse effects
