Hello I was diagnosed with double frozen shoulder in July of 2023 and a HUGE THANK YOU to SOMA therapy Monina at the front desk makes it very accommodating for you . The Place is immaculate clean that I can sit and eat off the floor . the entire staff is AMAZING care taking . They are always willing to work with you George is super helpful in last minute appoiment Vincent my therapist is the magic healing process right now . I am glad I came to this place for therapy . It is so good, hard to please (senor) my father with a whole entire shoulder replacement LOVES this place comes to soma .

Soma physical and occupational therapy has been the best Physical therapy practice I have been to in Astoria. I’ve been to multiple therapy offices and they have not been able to help my ankle that I had surgery on. The care at Soma is individualized and I know that I am being watched at all times and performing the exercises correctly. I am very grateful for George. My ankle is finally feeling better and I can walk again.

The physical therapists at SOMA are all wonderful! I went there in a lot of pain, thinking I had a pinched nerve. But once they made their assessment, it seemed to be a frozen shoulder. Although I started therapy, they recommended a specialist. And as it turned out, it was definitely a frozen shoulder. The therapy I've received has been by kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable physical therapists, that make healing a priority. The office is also maintained very clean. And the ladies at the front desk are sweethearts. Overall, choosing SOMA was the best choice that I could have made. Thank you George, Costa and Dominick for all your help during my healing process. I highly recommend SOMA Physical & Occupational Therapy for both injury recovery and prevention! After a month of treatment for my minor meniscus tear, I’ve noticed such a big difference. The sessions have really improved my pain, strength, and mobility but what makes it even better is the environment and the staff. George, Dom, and Monina are an absolute A-team. The space feels calm, welcoming, and nothing like a typical medical office. The team is attentive, supportive, and genuinely invested in their patients’ progress. They listen to your goals, your concerns, and pay close attention to what you need. I always leave feeling better both physically and mentally, and I actually look forward to my sessions as a time to heal and strengthen.

I was looking online for a PT and OT for My husband after his car accident in January. I called several places and did not get a good response. Until I was able to get in contact with SOMA, Monina (administrative) who has being so professional and supportive through the whole process. I have to also mention how careening, understanding, excellent patient care both Docs have. I would highly recommend anyone here, you will not regret it. After the positive experience with my husband, I myself took some sessions with OT for my wrist pain and saw improvement. Close to home, caring environment, one- on one sessions catered for your personal medical needs. Exceptional care from fronts desk to all the staff.
