Instructions

1
In a bowl, mix the sliced beef, soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes while you prepare the vegetables.
2
Cook the Chinese noodles according to the package instructions (usually 3–5 minutes). Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking.
3
In a small bowl, prepare the sauce: mix the soy sauce, ginger, garlic, honey and stock.
4
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a wok over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until browned but still tender. Remove the meat from the pan.
5
Add the remaining oil to the same pan along with all the vegetables (except the spring onion). Stir-fry over high heat for 3–4 minutes until the vegetables soften but remain crunchy.
6
Return the meat to the pan and add the cooked noodles. Pour over the prepared sauce and stir everything together over the heat for another 1–2 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.
7
Serve immediately, sprinkled with sliced spring onion and sesame seeds if desired.

Nutritional benefits

Thanks to the high zinc and protein content from the beef and the fiber from the whole-grain noodles, this meal contributes to faster recovery after exercise and stable energy levels.
