Instructions

1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a pie or baking dish with a few drops of coconut oil.
2
In a first bowl, gently mix the mixed frozen berries, cornstarch, maple syrup and fresh lemon juice. Pour the fruit mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
3
In a second bowl, thoroughly mix the oats, ground almonds, chopped pecans, cinnamon and a pinch of fine sea salt.
4
Pour the melted coconut oil and maple syrup into the dry crumble mixture and mix everything well with a wooden spoon until even crumbs form.
5
Sprinkle the resulting crumble evenly over the prepared fruit base in the dish, so that the entire surface is nicely covered.
6
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the fruit filling starts to bubble around the edges and the crumble on top turns a beautiful golden-brown color. Let the dish cool for 10 minutes before serving, so the filling thickens slightly.

Nutritional benefits

Thanks to the high antioxidant content in the berries and the healthy unsaturated fatty acids in the nuts, this dish helps protect cells from oxidative stress and supports the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system.
