Instructions

1
Preheat the oven to 200 °C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
2
In a pan, sauté the onion in olive oil until translucent. Add the ground meat and break it up with a spatula while cooking. Once the meat is browned, stir in the garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, chili, salt and pepper.
3
Add the drained black beans to the pan and cook everything together for another 2 minutes so the flavors combine. If needed, add a spoonful of water to keep the meat juicy.
4
Spread half of the tortilla chips on the baking tray. Sprinkle with half of the meat mixture and half of the grated cheese. Repeat the process with the remaining chips, meat and cheese – this layering ensures every bite is perfect.
5
Bake in the oven for 5–8 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and the edges of the chips are slightly browned.
6
Remove the hot tray from the oven. Spread the tomato, avocado and fresh cilantro over the nachos. Add spoonfuls of Greek yogurt in the center and serve immediately with lime wedges.
