Instructions
1
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into the blender container with a spoon.
2
Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut cream, vanilla, instant espresso powder, and a pinch of salt.
3
Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes completely smooth, glossy, and free of visible avocado chunks. If needed, stop and scrape down the sides of the blender with a spatula.
4
Taste the mousse and, if desired, add a little more maple syrup for sweetness or cocoa for a stronger chocolate flavor.
5
Divide the mixture into four small bowls and place them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, so the mousse firms up slightly and the flavors come together.
6
Garnish with fresh berries or mint leaves before serving.
Nutritional benefits
Thanks to the high content of monounsaturated fatty acids from avocado and antioxidants in cocoa, this dish supports heart and vascular health.
