Prepare the fruit. If using fresh mango, peel it and cut it into cubes. Cut the banana in half and slice it into rounds.

Pour the milk into the blender jug first, then add the Greek yogurt. The liquid at the bottom will ensure faster blending without air pockets.

Add the mango pieces, banana, hemp seeds, turmeric, lemon juice, and a pinch of black pepper. The pepper is key, as it activates the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric.

Blend all the ingredients at the highest speed for about 60 seconds, until the texture becomes completely smooth and thick.

Pour the smoothie into a glass and, if desired, garnish it with extra hemp seeds. Serve immediately while still cold.
