Instructions

1
Line a baking pan with parchment paper so you can easily remove the fudge later.
2
In a large bowl, mix the hazelnut butter, maple syrup and melted coconut oil until the mixture becomes completely smooth.
3
Add the protein powder, cocoa and a pinch of salt to the mixture. Stir well with a spatula until you get a thick, uniform mixture (if the mixture is too dry, add a tablespoon of water or plant-based milk).
4
Stir half of the chopped roasted hazelnuts into the mixture.
5
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan and press it down evenly with the spatula. Sprinkle the remaining hazelnuts on top and, if desired, a little extra sea salt.
6
Place in the freezer for at least 60 minutes (or in the refrigerator for 3 hours) until the fudge is completely set. Before cutting it into cubes, let it sit at room temperature for 5 minutes.

Nutritional benefits

Thanks to the high content of healthy unsaturated fats from hazelnuts and quality protein, this meal supports cognitive function and contributes to the repair of muscle tissue.
