Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Lightly grease the baking dish with butter or coconut oil.
2
In a bowl, mix the blueberries, lemon juice, zest, cinnamon and sweetener. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
3
In another bowl, prepare the topping: mix the almond flour, chopped nuts, sweetener and salt. Add the cold butter and use a fork or your fingers to work it in until you get a crumbly texture.
4
Sprinkle the topping evenly over the blueberries. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the blueberries start bubbling and the top turns golden brown.
5
Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving, so the fruit filling thickens slightly. Serve warm, optionally with a spoonful of Greek yogurt.
Nutritional benefits
Thanks to the high content of antioxidants (anthocyanins) from blueberries and healthy fats from almonds, this dish supports cognitive function and has anti-inflammatory effects.
