Pour the liquid (milk) into the blender jug first, then add the Greek yogurt. The order matters: if you add the liquid first, the protein powder won't stick to the bottom or sides of the jug.

Add the protein powder, chia seeds and vanilla extract. If using spinach, add it now.

Add the frozen fruit (forest berries and banana) on top. Frozen fruit acts like ice but doesn't dilute the flavor.

Blend on high speed for 45–60 seconds. Start slowly, then increase the speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, with no powder lumps or fruit chunks.

Pour into a tall glass and drink right away, while the texture is still thick and cold.
