Instructions

  1. 1Wash the cucumber and cut it into slices about 2 cm thick.
  2. 2Using a small spoon or a round peeler, carefully scoop out part of the core (seeds) in each round to create a small well, being careful not to pierce the bottom.
  3. 3Place the hollowed-out rounds on paper towels and let them drain for 5 minutes, then blot the tops as well to remove excess moisture.
  4. 4In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese, lemon juice, chopped dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until the mixture is completely smooth.
  5. 5Fill each cucumber round with a teaspoon of the prepared herb spread.
  6. 6Top each round with a piece of smoked salmon and sprinkle with hemp seeds for added texture and nutrition.
  7. 7Serve the snack immediately so the cucumbers stay crunchy.

Nutritional benefits

Thanks to the high water content in cucumbers and the omega-3 fatty acids in salmon, this snack promotes body hydration and supports heart and cardiovascular health.
