THIS PLANET FITNESS IS NICE, LOCATED IN THE NORTH EAST BRONX, SECTION OF CASTLE HILL..... SURROUNDED BY QUITE A FEW RESTAURANTS MAINLY LATIN AMERICAN CUISINE, NON THE LESS AMAZING FOOD IN THE AREA, DUNKIN DONUTS BLIMPIE, WHICH USE TO BE A NEW YORK FAVORITE HERO SANDWICH... RIGHT NEXT TO THE ABOVE GROUND 6 TRAIN, VERY NICE AREA,TO BE HONEST THE BRONX IS NOT KNOWN FOR NICE SAFE DECENT AREAS, BUT THIS PLACE IS BOTH... AS FOR THE GYM ITSELF LOCATED ABOVE GROUND ON THE SECOND FLOOR GREAT NATURAL LIGHT, EQUIPMENT VERY WELL SPACED OUT, ALL THE BASIC EQUIPMENT YOU NEED , IT WAS NOT CROWDED AT ALL, THE ENTIRE 4 HOURS I WAS THERE ...SO THAT WAS COOL, NO REAL WAIT FOR EQUIPMENT EITHER... THEY ALSO HAVE A TANING BOOTH ,RELATION ROOM ... BATHROOM WAS DECENT THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME.. THE PROBLEM I DID HAVE WAS THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO ROOM TO STRETCH... NO DESIGNATED LOCATION TO WARM UP.. AND THE ELEVATOR WAS DOWN , THEY HAVE 1.

I had an issue with my account at PF and spoke with Kevin, who I believe is the manager. Not only did he assist me with getting my account back up, but he was also with other customers, including the staff. Thank you for your professionalism and caring attitude.

Just switched to a this gym club since we moved, but honestly the equipment situation isn't giving.Also the employees are very unprofessional. Thinking it might be time to find a better spot..

The Castle Hill Planet Fitness is a decent location. The gym is generally clean, the employees are polite and helpful, and all equipment is functional. Read on for details. Equipment: This Planet Fitness offers a full selection of machines for every muscle group.And As expected from a Planet Fitness, it includes three "Smith Machines", dumbbells up to 75 lbs, kettlebells up to 25 lbs, and a wide variety of machines for each muscle group. Two newly added "Squat/power racks" with American Barbells and Bumper plates, Hack Squat and Curl bars make a powerful addition to the gym--perfect. Cleanliness and Atmosphere: The gym is well-maintained and clean, as it should be. Members are generally polite based on my observations and experiences. Staff: The employees are very helpful and courteous. They are frequently seen cleaning and assisting members. There is an elevator for those who need it.
