Planet Fitness - Brooklyn (Bensonhurst)

The only thing that really bothers me about this gym is the AC. Every year there seems to be an excuse, and now it’s been almost two weeks with no fix. The doors are still being left open so people can breathe, and the upstairs area is extremely hot. As a business owner, I know AC issues don’t take weeks to resolve unless there’s no urgency. At this point, it feels more like a cost-saving decision than a repair issue. Members pay for a comfortable environment, not a sauna.

Guys, you did an amazing job upgrading the gym! There are more machines now, more space, and the whole atmosphere feels so much better. It’s easier to breathe, everything looks and feels refreshed. You fixed all the broken equipment, replaced the grips, updated the cardio screens — 🔥 The new machines are awesome, exactly what was missing! And a huge thanks for the new barbell area 😍 The only “downside” that comes from all this — the gym is now so good that there will definitely be more people 😄 So maybe it’s time to raise the price to $80 to keep the balance! As for suggestions — just keep an eye on the equipment. Previously, torn rubber grips would stay that way for months, and some machines took a long time to get repaired. And please, turn up the ventilation when the gym is crowded — sometimes it’s really hard to breathe. Overall, fantastic job with the upgrade! 💪👏

This is absolute chaos. I’m new here, and after a long workday I decided to come work out for a bit. When I arrived, I saw groups of people around the machines with their own trainer. The trainer had taken over the equipment and wouldn’t let anyone else use it. I had to wait for over an hour just to try to work out, but no one let me use the machines. If I had known it would be like this, I would have never bought the membership. I only have one hour to train, and I can’t spend that entire hour waiting for someone else. It was a terrible experience.

Probably the worst planet fitness as it is always, always, always crowded. There are a lot of equipment and they have remodeled which is great but the overcrowding and how packed it always is is the worst. In the past, there were always broken machines, especially the treadmills so I'm glad they're renovating to make the place nicer. Other planet's seem to have less equipment so it's understandable as to why this one is so crowded. It's also always so hot in here and no AC

I had a good experience at this location, largely thanks to BAYAN at the front desk. She is incredibly nice, highly professional, and welcoming. Her outstanding customer service sets the perfect tone for the gym. She should definitely be the face of Planet Fitness!
