I have been a member of this location for over four years, and I'd like to give my kudos to the current manager. She is there day in and out and has really improved the experience at this gym. The attitude of the team members really make it a place I am happy to return to everyday. Give that manager a raise!
I don’t even know where to start. If you need a gym that still has $10 membership, this is it. Other gyms are a lot more expensive. Could Planet Fitness be better?! Sure. Could they have more equipment and less people at certain times?! Yes. But it’s ONLY ten bucks a month for a gym membership. It’s hard to beat. The staff is friendly at the front. The members are all over the place, but that’s New York. You come, you work out, you go home.
Staff is super friendly and helpful. Convenient location super centrally located. Even with it being in an active area you can def find times where it's not too crowded. Have enjoyed going there.

Dear Mr. Fitness, You are better than PureGym. Don’t stoop to their level. > Machines and treadmills are frequently breaking and out of order. > Never enough free weights that people want (20-40lbs). > The water bottle filler has been broken since it was installed months ago. There is only one water station for two floors. > there are not enough towel/spray stations. the ones that are there frequently run out. Some have no dispensers, so there are just big loose paper towel rolls sitting on top of the trash cans. > AC is hardly on in summer months. The cardio mezzanine (2nd floor) gets especially muggy and miserable.
Planet fitness needs to give this guy a raise he's always cleaning the bathroom making sure the mirrors are spotless he makes sure the sink counter tops are dry and is always wiping clean the machines and always making sure the floors are clean and mop and he's always respectful.
