Lavonte is a wonderful addition to the Bushwick team! I’ve been coming to this gym since 2021 and I’ve had great workouts every time. Ronnie is a character and has high energy always. Matthew is the glue that holds the gym together and Misty is always great!
The gym gets the job done but could be significantly better. Machines break every so often and have a slow turnaround time. Not enough leg machines and I find myself waiting ~10 mins between sets. Aside from equipment, the doors are absolutely ridiculous. Additionally - the annual cleaning fee for pure gym is absurd, shouldn’t be more than $10 per member
Very clean and quiet. I also liked the way the equipment was placed. I like that the treadmills are facing the window. I also like that the equipment is on different levels. Therefore, even if the gym is crowded, people are spaced out on different levels. I think this is the best pure gym that I have been to.

Signing up for a day pass was easy enough and the gym is large enough to get a workout done efficiently. Has most equipment, clean locker rooms. Vending machine at the front.
This review is not solely on this location but a reflection on the Puregym brand as a whole. The quality and service of the franchise since the rebrand has taken a steep free fall. Lack of staff, those pain in the butt capsule doors and needing to have the app to have access to them, I once had a struggle trying to get the app to work which led me to be stuck in the hallway of a Puregym some months ago but I digress...the vibe and feel of the place just sucks. This Gym was so much better back when it ran as Blink Fitness, which brought me to even get a green card membership back in 2023. Granted there were some locations that were a borderline L in quality but majority of the gyms under Blink were cool. Responsive staff, better environment among fellow gymgoers, not being stuck behind a pseudo futuristic entry door just to gain access to the gym, it was just fine to me but things happen and so do bankruptcies.
