Instructions

  1. 1Wash and dry the apples. Cut the apples into rings and remove the core using a small round cutter or a knife.
  2. 2Sprinkle the rings with lemon juice to prevent oxidation (browning).
  3. 3In a small bag or bowl, mix the erythritol (or sugar), cinnamon, and ginger.
  4. 4Place the apple rings into the bag with the spice mixture and shake vigorously so the mixture coats each piece evenly.
  5. 5Preheat the Airfryer to 180°C.
  6. 6Place the rings in the Airfryer basket in a single layer. For even cooking, they shouldn't overlap too much (fry in two batches if necessary).
  7. 7Bake for 10–12 minutes. Halfway through the time (after 6 minutes), carefully flip the rings.
  8. 8Once the apples are golden brown and slightly crispy at the edges, remove them from the Airfryer. Let them rest for 2 minutes, as they will firm up further and become crispier as they cool.

Nutritional benefits

Apples are a rich source of fiber, which supports gut health and reduces inflammatory processes, while oil-free preparation keeps the snack's calorie content low.
