Instructions

1
Wash and dry the apples. Cut the apples into rings and remove the core using a small round cutter or a knife.
2
Sprinkle the rings with lemon juice to prevent oxidation (browning).
3
In a small bag or bowl, mix the erythritol (or sugar), cinnamon, and ginger.
4
Place the apple rings into the bag with the spice mixture and shake vigorously so the mixture coats each piece evenly.
5
Preheat the Airfryer to 180°C.
6
Place the rings in the Airfryer basket in a single layer. For even cooking, they shouldn't overlap too much (fry in two batches if necessary).
7
Bake for 10–12 minutes. Halfway through the time (after 6 minutes), carefully flip the rings.
8
Once the apples are golden brown and slightly crispy at the edges, remove them from the Airfryer. Let them rest for 2 minutes, as they will firm up further and become crispier as they cool.

Nutritional benefits

Apples are a rich source of fiber, which supports gut health and reduces inflammatory processes, while oil-free preparation keeps the snack's calorie content low.
