Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 150 °C. A low temperature is key so the almond flour doesn't turn bitter or burn before the crackers become crispy.
- 2In a large bowl, mix the almond flour, salt, and spices. Add the egg white and knead by hand until you get a firm ball of dough that doesn't stick to your fingers.
- 3Place the dough between two sheets of baking paper. Roll it out as thin as possible (about 1–2 mm) with a rolling pin. The thinner the dough, the crispier the chips will be.
- 4Remove the top sheet of paper. Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into triangles of the desired size. Do not move the triangles, leave them in the shape you cut them.
- 5Together with the bottom baking paper, transfer the dough onto a baking sheet. Lightly brush it with olive oil using a pastry brush.
- 6Bake for 10–12 minutes. Watch closely – as soon as the edges turn golden brown, the chips are done.
- 7Remove from the oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet. The chips will become maximally crispy only once fully cooled.
