Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- 2Remove any damaged outer leaves from the cabbage. Cut the head into approximately 2 cm thick rounds (steaks). Be careful not to let the rounds fall apart.
- 3In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, chopped garlic, ground paprika, salt and pepper.
- 4Place the cabbage rounds on the baking sheet. Using a brush, evenly coat both sides with the prepared oil mixture.
- 5Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes. Carefully turn them over halfway through. The cabbage is done when the edges are golden brown and crispy, and the center is tender.
- 6While the cabbage is baking, prepare the dressing in a bowl from lemon juice, lemon zest and chopped parsley.
- 7Remove the baked steaks from the oven, immediately drizzle with the herb dressing, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan if desired.
Nutritional benefits
