Instructions
1
Hard-boil three eggs (about 9 minutes), cool them and peel. Preheat the oven to 190 °C.
2
In a pan, quickly sauté the onion in oil until translucent, then add the garlic until fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
3
In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, grated carrots, oats, a raw egg, the sautéed onion and all the spices (parsley, marjoram, paprika, salt, pepper). Knead the mixture well with your hands.
4
On a baking tray lined with parchment paper, spread half of the meat mixture into a rectangular shape. Place the boiled eggs in a row down the center.
5
Cover the eggs with the remaining meat mixture and, with slightly wet hands, shape it into a smooth loaf. Make sure there are no air pockets between the meat and the eggs.
6
Brush the loaf with a little oil and bake for 45–50 minutes. You can place a small container of water at the bottom of the oven to create steam for extra juiciness. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Nutritional benefits
Thanks to the high content of protein and fiber from the oats and carrots, this meal provides long-lasting satiety and supports muscle recovery.
